If you’ve never been to Oktoberfest at Alpine Village, or to Alpine Village at all, this may be the year for you to go. Celebrating the 51st anniversary of the event in Torrance, this year’s festivities will be a “Throwback Oktoberfest” held inside the restaurant “Bier Hall” style. Plus, Sundays are family days, so kids can get to experience the traditions and excitement in a family friendly setting.
The celebration runs October 4th – 27th, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Order tickets online to save your spots and get a discount.
Fridays: $15. 6:00 – 12:00. 21+
Saturdays: $20. 600 – 12:00. 21+
Sundays: $10. 1-6. All Ages.
Sunday admittance is FREE for kids under 12, seniors over 65, anyone in traditional costume, and anyone who buys brunch or $20 worth of merchandise from the village shops.
In addition to all the imported food and beer, the music will also be imported, with the Haderlumpen band flying in from Germany for everyone’s enjoyment. Sunday family days will also have Oompah music, dancing, face painting, and yodeling contests.
There’s also everything that Alpine Village has to offer year round. The restaurant serves classic European dishes every day and the market sells the ingredients to make your own. Check out their deli, bakery, and beer sections, or try some of the imported snacks and candy. The Village also has a variety of antique and import shops, set in a fun Old World atmosphere.
Alpine Village is on Torrance and Vermont, right off the 110.
